Initially connect the PICkit 2 to PC and PIC using proper connectors.Open MPLAB, select PICkit 2 (programmer → select programmer → PICkit 2 ), after PICkit 2 is Ready import the Hex file and Finally write the Hex file to target device (programmer → program)
